How do you feel about refresher training?

Refresher training is a waste if an employee has already been underperforming for months. Employees should understand their role and job within the first 90 days of employment and will have a difficult time becoming proficient if they do not demonstrate proficiency within the first 90 days. Refresher training is only appropriate if processes or products have changed.
