Based on my time at American Apparel 1. Clean up hangers because they are a safety hazard 2. Do boxes for new inventory because when other employees come in for flip, I want to make sure that all the items are tagged and are ready for the floor. I don't want to hold up other's time because my duties were not fulfilled. 3. Markdowns I told her I wasn't entirely sure of my answer because at AA we do not have sale items and all items that come in are already tagged. Also this is based off of what I think flip entails.
