      e^3 is very close to 20, therefor e^6 is very close to 400, and finally e^7 would be something over 1000, give 6 a little nudge up and this is a very doable mental math question if you happen to know the first clause of this run-on.

      Not sure if natural log or some integer based log.. if base 10: log(540) = log(10*10*5.4) = 2+ log(5.4) = 2.7
