Catalyst Paper has accelerated efforts to develop and commercialize new products extending beyond printing and writing papers. Drawing on extensive expertise in energy generation and environmental management, we also produce and sell green energy.
We manufacture diverse specialty printing papers, newsprint and pulp for retailers, publishers and commercial printers, have an annual production capacity of 1.8 million tonnes of paper and 500,000 tonnes of pulp, and are headquartered in Richmond, BC, Canada. Employing nearly 3,000 employees.
We have a recognized track record of collaborating to ensure wood fibre and other inputs are sourced sustainably; of minimizing the impacts of our manufacturing operations, in forms such as greenhouse gases; of engaging with employees and communities transparently and respectfully; and of providing quality products with verified environmental attributes which customers can use with confidence.
