    Avantages

    Culture is amazing, some of my colleagues are now my true friends. A real culture of high performance flows through everything the company does. Most of the sales team are hitting their number and earning well.

    Inconvénients

    The company is growing fast so expect your number to go up a lot. Good news is that the comp goes up as well

    Made me realize that it get's better outside of BT.

    Inconvénients

    No one hits quota and the expectations go beyond your role of a traditional SDR role. The senior sellers only hang out with each other and make a point to exclude you. If you're a girl, forget about getting a long with the other female managers in the office. Forget about being invited to happy hours if you've been with the company for less than 2 years. Oh and not to mention the pay. Expect to be paid less than...

    Avantages

    Everyone here is intelligent and believes in collaborating to make an impact. The culture and values are great, and everyone really adheres to them. There has been focus directed toward creating more transparency around development/growth potential, which is fantastic.

    Inconvénients

    Haven't really seen any "Cons". We don't get free lunch? (but we get plenty of healthy snacks and have a free gym in the building)

    We are at an important juncture in time for the company, so as products/services mature and change, so do teams and expectations of people. It will be important for Leadership to maintain awareness around individuals or teams being stretched thin. It happens with any growing organization, or as companies mature, so we must make sure we do what we can to maintain a high level of productivity and employee engagement/happiness.

    I’ve met some bright (pun intended), nice people here, but they’ve since left for greener pastures.

    Inconvénients

    Listen, this place is utterly depressing and let me tell you why. For starters, the culture here is not welcoming. No one greets each other as they pass and when you try to start a friendly conversation with someone, often times I’ve been looked at with bewilderment.     Management is not interested in employee feedback (or only pretends to listen). Toxic culture, political games and infighting - no wonder projects can't get done. Disconnect between US-UK offices and teams, some of it due to legacy mindset and old employees unwilling to change with the times. The company has been around for ages, but it's still relying on tasks being done manually across too many teams. KPIs change...

    Listen to your employees and show them that the company's values mean something. Take better care of your users. Set limits as to how many times a user/lead can be sold within a certain timeframe. Invest in some tech. Automate tedious manual tasks. It's 2019!

    My experience with BrightTALK has been an awesome introduction to the world of MarTech and sales. The culture is a ton of fun with happy hours, catered lunch, and various rewards for success. The benefits are incredible with options for education allowance, loads of PTO, and insurance/ retirement packages. Very supportive group of people.

    The company is in a rapid growth phase which can make things seem hectic as additional products, clients, etc. are being rolled out.
