Avantages
Accomodation, vehicle, better saalary than for most new grads.
Inconvénients
Another vet already wrote a perfect description on here of what it is like to work for Medivet as a new grad, but to reinforce his/her point: you get stuck in a rural practice with little to no support and inexperienced nurses. The managmenet is only interested in money, they could not care less about your career or your progress as a new grad. In addition to the pressure of being a new unsupported grad, I also had to deal with a practice manager (who had been promoted from some basic position straight to management albeit having zero experience) who was constantly admonishing me, especially about money and charging a lot. Absolutely toxic head office: it was a nightmare resigning from these guys. Avoid avoid avoid.
