Avantages

Amenities, but with a Catch: The company does offer some amenities like food and coffee. However, it's a very limited supply. It's a nice thought, but it feels more like a symbolic gesture than a genuine benefit. The Baristas are the Best: The best part of the food situation is the baristas. They are incredibly kind and skilled, always ready to give you a good cup of coffee. Their friendly demeanor is a small but significant positive in an otherwise negative environment. Engaging Activities (with a Co-Pay): The company attempts to organize engaging activities and events. Unfortunately, these initiatives are severely underfunded, and employees are often asked to contribute their own money to make them happen, which feels unfair and cheap. For example, a "team-building" event might require each person to shell out 500 PHP just to participate. It's a morale-booster that ends up feeling like a financial burden. Strong Employee Camaraderie: The relationships among regular employees are generally good. People support each other and build strong bonds. You'll find yourself bonding with colleagues over shared frustrations and trying to help each other navigate the toxic environment. Parties and Alcohol are Tolerated: The company is very lenient about alcohol consumption and parties, which is a definite plus for those who enjoy a more relaxed and social environment.

Inconvénients

HMO and Benefits: The HMO coverage is extremely poor. It only covers one dependent, and even then, employees are required to pay a portion of the cost. This is a significant drawback and doesn't provide adequate support for employees and their families. A colleague's scenario highlights this perfectly: their child needed a minor procedure, and even with the HMO, the family was left with a hefty bill. The "coverage" is so thin it's almost useless. Rampant Immorality and Affairs: This is perhaps the most shocking and pervasive issue. The company is a hotbed of extramarital affairs, and it's openly tolerated. I've personally seen managers, who are married, shamelessly having affairs with their subordinates. The most egregious part is that this behavior is led by the upper management. A high-ranking manager was known to be in a long-term affair with a junior employee, and despite it being common knowledge and a source of extreme discomfort, nothing was ever done. It creates a toxic and unprofessional atmosphere where trust is non-existent. Salary is a Bad Joke: The compensation is insulting. I worked hard for a full year, and my annual increase was a measly 1,000 PHP. What's worse is that new hires are often brought in at a higher salary than long-time employees, leading to massive resentment and a sense of being undervalued. A colleague with five years of experience was earning less than a new employee who was only there for two months. It's a clear sign that the company has zero respect for loyalty or hard work. Unfair Judgments by Frances: The company's culture is dominated by politics and favoritism, often dictated by one person: Frances. She is the epitome of a power-tripping individual who makes judgments based on personal relationships rather than performance. A co-worker who was an exemplary performer was passed over for a promotion because Frances preferred someone else. The person she chose was a personal friend who had a history of poor performance, yet they got the promotion anyway. This kind of unfairness is commonplace. No Work-from-Home Options: In a post-pandemic world where remote work is a proven success, the CEO remains stubbornly against it. They are completely closed-minded about any work-from-home options, even for roles that could easily be done remotely. This shows a fundamental lack of trust in employees and an unwillingness to adapt to modern workplace standards. Incompetent Leadership: The management is a mess. The CX managers, especially Jericho, are ineffective and seem to have no idea how to lead a team. They are reactive rather than proactive, often making decisions that hurt morale and productivity. For example, in a crisis situation, instead of providing clear guidance, Jericho gave conflicting instructions to different team members, leading to confusion and delayed resolution. Work-Life Balance is an Illusion: With the terrible salaries, you're constantly living from paycheck to paycheck, making it impossible to truly enjoy your life outside of work. The company expects you to be a high-performing employee, but doesn't compensate you enough to have any kind of financial security or peace of mind. Blatant Favoritism and Unjust Terminations: There is a clear double standard when it comes to company rules. People who are not in the administration's inner circle can be terminated for minor offenses, like being a few minutes late. However, those who are friends with the admins can get away with grave offenses, including drug use and theft. There was a case where a regular employee was fired for a small mistake, while a different employee, who was openly known to be a drug user, was allowed to stay because they were close to a manager. This hypocrisy is sickening and creates a feeling of utter powerlessness. Drug Users are a Known Problem: It's an open secret that there are drug users within the company's ranks. This is not just a rumor; it's a known issue that the management chooses to ignore. It puts everyone's safety and well-being at risk and is a symptom of a completely broken system.
