    Avantages

    The support you get from the local team around you.

    Inconvénients

    No being in control of ordering the New Goods that we require or that would suitable to sell in our area.
    Also not being able to move stock between shops.

    The sale of new goods is being hit hard because we no longer have control over this. This will have a huge impact on the overall sales for each shop, each shop that I have spoken to,are down from last year.
    This is something that needs to be reviewed and processes put in place to enable each shop and area to work to the best of their ability.

    Avantages

    Working with the people we care for is very rewarding.

    Inconvénients

    Bad organisation, constant phone calls asking to cover shifts, adding extra clients last minutes, unreasonable times on sheets example visiting two or three people same time. You are expected to work 8 to eight days with no days off, and although promised you will get a weekend off from every three it never happens and you end up having to ask for a weekend off which makes you feel like it’s a big favour they are doing you. You pick up your weekly rota on a Thursday, that is if they are ready for the following week starting Monday so you can’t plan your life ahead as you never know when you are off. Constant promises things are going to change but they don’t. Constant changes like you are ready to go out on a route which you know finishes at a certain time and suddenly you get a phone call changing you to another with a later time and you are expected to be available. On your days off you get constant phone calls for updates which should wait until you are back on a working day. You are expected to answer your private phone, although not provided by company or you are not paid to be on call.

    Listen to your staff, instead of lecturing us at meetings as the company will never run without us and you would not be able to provide any service. In order words you would not have a job.

    In the office to many people putting their hands in the cake and then you wonder why things go terribly wrong.

    Management needs to know more about what hides beneath the carpets in office when it comes to last minute imposible changes in schedules specially weekends.

    Lack of office planning and not involving experienced carers
