Avantages
Symphony offers a rare opportunity to work on a high-end, real-time, secure communication platform (especially unique in the French tech landscape). There’s a lot to learn here, from distributed systems and performance to cryptography and robust internal tooling. Developers have real ownership, covering the entire product lifecycle from design to production monitoring, unlike the siloed setups in larger companies. Salaries are above market average, and while the perks are decent, they’re not the main attraction.
Inconvénients
The pace can be intense and things move quickly, so it takes some time to adapt if you're not used to fast-changing environments, there’s rarely a routine.
