Avantages

Inconvénients

Très mauvaise gestion, le lieu de travail est littéralement une salle de classe. Vous êtes assis dans des tables rectangulaires sans vue extérieure (pas de fenêtres) qui ressemble à une prison. Il n'y a pas de place pour grandir et chaque semaine, quelqu'un quitte l'entreprise. Méfiez-vous des ingénieurs! Ils n'ont pas assez d'outils pour évoluer dans l'entreprise, ils s'inquiètent plus de la façon dont vos tests d'écriture rapportent que de la conception ou de l'innovation. Ils n'offrent aucune formation sur les contrôles moteur et ne disposent pas d'un groupe informatique. La plupart des gens qui travaillent ont autre chose que des antécédents en ingénierie.

We are very sorry for your personal experience. Feedback is very important and we thank you for it. For the current and future employees, we would like to mention few things: - CS employees work on system and software embedded on the most sofisticated aircraft systems. - When we test these systemes, there is no room for error because life of passengers is at stake. - In this context, writing a complete and accurate test but also a good test report for cert authorities is mandatory. - We hire junior engineers with little experience but the ratio senior to junior is 4 to 1, meaning there is enough expertise for a young engineer to learn and grow. - Innovation is not easy for small companies. It is not an exception for CS. Nonetheless, we dedicated 8% of our manpower this year on innovation techniques to be applied on the engineering work. The intent is to grow CS as one of the most performant supplier in the Aerospace & Defense industry. - CS regularly sends anonymous surveys to employees to identify working environment improvements. CS also has to comply with the most restrictive rules in terms of security because of the sensitive information that we handle. No comment on offices was ever mentioned. Not mentioned in your comments, but we put a specific focus to create a win-win situation with our employees. Performance is required for each of them but in return a career growth is tangible at CS: we promoted 6 entry-level engineers to a team lead position in the last 3 years. There is always room for improvement and once again we appreciate your feedback. CS is committed to being a great workplace.

Avantages

Good fellow employees. Decent compensation and benefits.

Inconvénients

Difficult management at a local level. Engineers seem to spend more time managing the management than should be necessary. Poor methods of setting expectations and schedules. Management blames employees for higher level failures. Forced use of PTO when work is slow.
