Avantages

The people are all really nice and friendly and the industry (domain names and corporate online brand protection) is very interesting.

Inconvénients

There are not enough people in any team, so each person has more and more piled on. I worked in two different roles and experienced the same in both. There was also no training or support when I was promoted, which meant I struggled with the workload. Despite asking for help and guidance, not much was forthcoming so I became very disillusioned and depressed. There was also no pay rise to go with the promotion. Management outside Delaware have very little influence and the people in charge in Delaware are solely US-focused. All the above is leading me to be leaving the company with no job to go to, as I just can't put myself through it any more.

Avantages

Managers are very relaxed and allow you to have a great deal of autonomy and flexibility in your schedule and workload. There are no specific sales quotes that you have to meet. It’s a great place to get your feet wet and start with a very large company. I learned all the basics of sales here in a very relaxed environment with a lot of very smart accomplished people. Lots of inbound warm leads that close but are small.

Inconvénients

The base pay is very low only 35,000 this is for most sales roles at CSC. After 10 years, I think it goes up to 45,000 so you pretty much are working for your commission only because your base pay check is only gonna be $955 after tax. The only issue is that an E recording the commissions build so slowly it takes an extremely long time to get that book going monthly for yourself. And even once it’s stacked up, the base pay is so low that your first paycheck of the month is only $1000. I was not able to live off of that until the end of the month when I got my base pay with commission.
