Avantages
CNRL it’s extremely stable and continues to grow, following an expansion-driven philosophy. Working here is already a privilege; there are so many moving parts that you’re constantly learning something new. The company also has a strong culture of growing with its employees, including offering stock awards at year-end. Because it’s such a large organization, you meet all kinds of people; luckily, I ended up in a great team. Work schedule can be flexible depending on your supervisor, and the Fridays off in July and August are a great perk.
Inconvénients
The workload is consistently very high, and the company often feels understaffed. Salaries tend to be lower compared to other companies in the industry. Processes can be extremely slow, and decisions must go through countless layers of approval. There’s no possibility of remote work, and sometimes the company can be overly cost-conscious in areas where a bit more investment would improve employee experience.
