Avantages

Portfolio of sites. Financial backing. Good benefits.

Inconvénients

Inept, egoistical and delusional senior management team. Inept and disconnected HR team. Everything seems to be re-active, no strategy, zero commercial awareness Projects Managers literally do not know or adhere to budgets and are unware of project margins. Poor customer relations and delivery especially over the last 2 years. Poor supplier management. Whilst the structure is in place for learning and development the onus is on the line managers to have regular check in and encourage this individual development - THIS IS NOT HAPPENING and line managers are not supported or empowered. Moving to a 'factory model' losing solid relationships built over years internally, with the supplier s and customers. Staff and talent retention is very, very poor and on the verge of being a joke. A lot of management catchphrases and BS without output. Turbulent & toxic office environment created by Senior Management who funilly are never present. Systems and processes are non existent, recent changes to key databases were massively mis-managed and the system is clearly not fit for purpose but still being used its literally like placing a plaster on a broken leg then expecting you to run a marathon.

Avantages

Nice offices and great coffee!! Decent people to work with at the lower levels.

Inconvénients

The UK had potential and started out so well under the first MD - it was a bit rocky, but it felt more authentic. The current MD and the one before are simply clueless. They are not a right fit culturally and you can see they did not/do not want to be in the UK. Since two of the only decent people on the senior management team were forced out there is only one who I think has any empathy and can be approached - the others I wouldn't trust. As to the Leadership team - they don't understand the word leadership let alone how to lead and many are only in the role due to length of service not ability. Regarding the team in Spain - it's very much jobs for the boys (not the girls note). While every country was shedding big numbers to meet the investor's demands, Corpo were shifting their people around and saving their backsides and putting them in jobs they had never done rather than getting the right person in from the rest of the group.
