I cannot stress this enough -- it is important for seniors in college or recent graduates to fully understand what is in store for them if they decide to work as an analyst in Eze's QA department. It is an exceedingly easy way to waste two years of your life. The QA departments leads analysts down a road with very few prospects to move on to other opportunities except for the pre-determined paths outlined by management. For someone how has yet to work in the real world this might not seem so bad, but Eze's quicksand (**think no future job opportunities**) becomes rapidly apparent. What can you expect working as an analyst? Don't be fooled by flashy words like "regression testing." You will spend your days brainlessly clicking buttons to make sure they click as expected. Then going to another part of the software and ... clicking more buttons to make sure they work as expected. Then reading some instructions about how to click buttons and what the expected result of the clicking buttons should look like -- followed by more button clicking. This might sound silly but is no exaggeration. Not only does this kind of work make you feel like your brain is unnecessary and slowly dying, it means that you cannot leave Eze to move on to other opportunities. Other employers won't care that you have clicked button's in Eze's software. The only opportunities are to move on to Eze consulting or system support which are merely glorified customer service positions where you advise hedge funds on how to click buttons. The QA department is a trap and it is near impossible to escape. Do yourself a favor and try to find any other place to work that offers stimulating opportunities before accepting an offer at Eze.
