Those who had their contracts arbitrarily shortened "just happened" to be intermediates or seniors who are non Quebecois (translation: they cost more to employ and do not receive as much tax subsidies for those employees). Once the opportunity arises they will replace you with 3 juniors before you can say "Vive le Quebec libre."
