Avantages
Benefits are good. The people I worked with (aside from management in my dept.) were all fantastic too.
Inconvénients
During my time with the company, I was expected to work 60+ hours a week, including weekends for month-end reconciliations. I was informed that not working long hours could negatively impact my chances for promotion, and those who adhered to a standard 45-hour work week were considered disposable and encouraged to leave. When I attempted to set boundaries, I was met with an increased workload, even though my existing workload was already substantial. It became common for me to stay well past 10 pm, observing management work and listening to personal stories. It was strongly implied that raising concerns with HR could lead to termination or be ineffective, which prevented me from reporting these issues. As my health deteriorated due to the excessive strain, I was forced to disclose my health issues and medication side effects to my department manager. The professional boundaries that were crossed during my tenure were deeply troubling.
