Possible to master the core aspects of Telstra Global's business (Service Activation, Service Assurance, Service Billing) within 3 years. Ability to voice concerns and be heard so long as the concerns are based on actual facts - no need to be a manager for this. Five core corporate values easy to remember and to apply everyday. A great "Leadership At Telstra" framework. A long term strategy and means to achieve it.

Inconvénients

Tendency to work in silos. Need to shed a few more layers of bureaucracy so that employees can be empowered a bit more compared to today. Need to keep an eye out for system integrators always eager to milk more out of the Telstra cow. Organisational changes and mergers happening every year that may be too much for some (but hey: change is here to stay...).

real remote arrangement for most staff

Inconvénients

There is no direction except cost reduction. While revenue is a concern, there is no general understanding on how to remove internal barriers that stop revenue from coming in. Business model is not sustainable and it is surviving by selling off asset and business at the point.
