ASC Engineered Solutions used to be a great place to work, but that changed quickly when new leadership took over. Since then, upper management has completely shifted the direction of the company, trying to model operations after Amazon—without understanding that this industry thrives on relationships, not algorithms. Customer service and long-standing partnerships are no longer a priority. The human element has been stripped away, and everything now feels robotic and numbers-driven. My department originally had 22 people. By the time I left, only 3 remained. Constant restructuring, lack of communication, and poor decisions from the top drove away good, experienced employees. It felt like leadership was making changes just to make changes, without any real strategy. To make matters worse, commissions are regularly withheld or delayed. Compensation policies are vague at best and seem to shift to benefit the company, not the employees who’ve earned their pay. If you value job stability, fair compensation, and being part of a team that’s respected—this is no longer the place for that. The culture has taken a nosedive, and it’s hard to see a recovery in sight.
