      Avantages

      Good salary and benefits. TEMS products have a strong name in the market. There is a good core of technical expertise scattered throughout the company.

      Inconvénients

      Wireless test equipment market has been consolidating, and Ascom has not been successful in finding alternative products and services to replace declining test and measurement revenues. Geographical locations are increasingly siloed, as they are essentially forced to compete with each other for survival. There have been several round of layoffs in the past few years, and the environment will likely remain unstable for the foreseeable future.

      Avantages

      There are plenty of talented individuals with extensive experience in the marketplace within the Ascom Network Testing division. Many of the individuals will go beyond respective responsibility in order to support business activities and the TEMS brand name has a highly reputable reputation around the world.

      Inconvénients

      There is almost no collaboration between the three geographical regions on individual contributor level and very little, if any, support by the executive management related to share experience between regions, which leads to the various operational organizations can be compared with silos on many levels. Some managers will do almost anything to meet their own shortsighted goal(s) prior to supporting the staff.
