Avantages

Working at BMS will build up your resilience for entering the sales world. If you are the right person, it is a character building environment, if you are not, it could be soul destroying.

Inconvénients

The management take advantage of naive graduates and squeeze every penny out of them they can False promises of progression and development. The best jobs are all dominated by the 'old boys' who have been in the company 10 years +. There is no chance of you progressing under the current managers. Completely unrealistic expectations and targets. My targets were made up on the spot month on month and nothing was ever good enough. Staff attrition rates are awful. The work life balance is terrible. 8am-6pm every single day. It is frowned upon if you are not in the office before 8am or do not stay until after 6pm. The management style is archaic and mercenary. For example, Shouting at you whilst on the phone trying to talk to customers, lambaste you in front of fellow colleagues. This was awful for trying to learn and develop your sales ability. it would kill your confidence and drain all your enthusiasm, it certainly did mine.

Way too much red tape and bad decision makers. Leads to extra work.
