Avantages

Good benefits, fair salary, friendly atmosphere, very skilled people working withn this company.

Inconvénients

Overall a good place to work but I would agree with the earlier comments about the work/ life balance. If you expect to excel you will be working in excess of 45-50 hours per week with limited time for vacation. Especially true in the engineering groups. The situation is so bad that employees were told by the director to refrain from vacation during a 4 month long shutdown. Other cons are minimal but there has been a shift in morale over the past couple of years due to certain key management individuals and promotions.

Avantages

The benefits package is strong and competitive, which adds a lot of overall value. There are many internal departments and career paths, making it relatively easy to explore new roles and grow within the company. On-site cafeteria is a convenient and appreciated perk. Many colleagues are highly experienced and have been with the company and industry for years, making them great resources for learning and mentorship.

Inconvénients

Promotion policies can be limiting—there seems to be an informal rule that prevents employees from being promoted more than once in a year, even for high performers. Salary could be more competitive compared to market rates. Equipment and internal systems feel outdated and could benefit from modernization to improve efficiency.
