Avantages
Great people and environment to work in! Once you're contributing to the company and getting to know everyone, you'll feel very welcome with the entire group. The newly built office is very comfortable, quiet, and has an exercise and entertainment (tv, video games) room. Folks walk around in their socks, and they let you wear shorts to work. I wore Vibram Five-Fingers all the time. Very cool and funny group to work with. They also appreciate extra effort and correcting one's mistakes. You will be noticed when you improve your work, which is not always the case with larger companies. I hope you like dual monitors, 'cuz these guys will HOOK YOU UP. Also, they pay their interns.
Inconvénients
It's a small/medium-sized company, so it's tough to move up quickly unless you come in with some exceptional skills. It's hard to call this a con though-- BCG is trying to make ends meet, so they need developers who are worth their weight in productivity and proficiency. I don't believe this "con" would apply to everyone who works there. Sometimes digital communication doesn't move people as quickly as meeting them face-to-face, but everyone's door is always open! If you work there, get to know everyone, and communication will never be a problem. It's hard to come up with cons for this place. Is that a con?
