Avantages
I worked at the Support Center (Corporate Office). The company boasts their growth, and on a quality product. You get a meal card with an allowance each month, and catering every Monday. After about 3 months, you stop enjoying Cafe Rio.. I have found that a truly successful brand will also focus on it's people. Cafe Rio say's they do, they don't. I read someones review about HR being "mean girls" and I couldn't help but smile because I feel it might be true. I often heard them gossiping about team members. The only thing I truly enjoyed about the job were the relationships I built, and continue to maintain with their field operations teams.
Inconvénients
As the title reads, this was the worst job I have ever had. It wasn't until 8 months after I was employed with them, that I had my first 1:1 meeting with my manager. The feedback from that meeting was that I was not hitting my goals. The reality was, I was unaware of those goals until that meeting, and they goals that had been set for me were unattainable. From that point on, almost every night after work I wanted to cry and I felt like a failure. It wasn't until now, almost a year since I left, that I realized how awful it truly was, now that I am in a position I love, where I am supported by my manager.
