ClimatePartner fosters a fantastic community of passionate individuals who want to tackle climate action. Being part of this community is something which is very sought after if you are looking to build or develop your career in the sustainability industry. The culture is the best I've ever experienced in my professional career. Exercises super flexible working which creates an excellent work-life balance. There is no pressure to come into the office, but typically most people come into the office 1-3 days per week. The office is located at a very impressive central London location (County Hall) with riverside views of Big Ben. There are usually people hanging around in the office after work on Wednesdays and Thursdays to go for drinks. Additionality, the company puts on organised work socials every month and usually an annual 'away day (in 2022 we had an overnight stay in a beautiful nature reserve)' to provide value team building time whilst reconnecting with nature.
Inconvénients
ClimatePartner had a 'flat hierarchy'. This resulted in a lack of promotional opportunities which was one of the reasons I decided to leave the company. However, since I have left, they have now implemented a hierarchy which will undoubtedly present more promotional opportunities for employees.
