Avantages

You have the opportunity to work on what you'd like to and have access to pretty much anyone at the company at any given time. Great benefits, remote work, lunch stipend, etc.

Inconvénients

After working for startups, Coder looks to be more mature than it truly is once you get into the weeds. High turnover on the go-to-market team mostly because there seems to be a lack of product-market fit for Coder Enterprise. Beyond that, it seems leadership makes decisions on a whim more times than not creating whiplash in the company and a lot of activity with no forward momentum. If you're a dev, Coder is probably a dream come true but for someone in GTM, it isn't promising.

Avantages

Managers and C-Levels genuinely care about you as a human, and the company is still small enough that everyone knows almost everyone by name, while being big enough to contain a wealth of knowledge and experience. Questions are encouraged, transparency is high, and debates are met with genuine curiosity on what's best for the company, and not best for someone's ego. Everyone is eager to help out and genuinely kind.

Inconvénients

Things change quickly, like at most start ups. The goals you were given yesterday will probably change by the next quarter, but everyone is aware that we're climbing a mountain and not sprinting. There's hustle, but with a healthy work life balance.

Avantages

Coder is a great place to work with a strong product that solves real problems for developers and enterprises. The team is talented, collaborative, and supportive, and leadership is focused on building something meaningful. The company is growing quickly, which creates lots of opportunities to learn, take ownership, and have an impact. The remote-friendly culture and engineering focus make it a great environment for people who enjoy building and improving technology.

Inconvénients

Because the company is growing quickly, processes and internal structure are still evolving. That can sometimes lead to changing priorities or ambiguity around roles and workflows. As the company scales, continuing to improve documentation and cross-team communication will help maintain efficiency.
