Avantages

I couldn't find any, that's why I and much of the other staff moved onto better positions at better companies. Thank god I made it out of there when I did.

Inconvénients

None of the original staff is there from when I started up until I left. The turn over rate is high. There are only a few people who actually get paid decent money and the rest have to suffer. The owner is so cheap that the yearly "Christmas Party" is a chili cook off where they make the employees spend their own money to feed the rest of the company. If you aren't signed up, the COO will send you an email telling you to google recipes "because it's not hard to make chili". Never have I worked somewhere that employees had to fund their own Christmas party. Pay never increases and benefits never increase but when engineers leave, they do not replace them. So the work load increases and increases as does the level of stress because you feel like you never have a moment to breathe. Meanwhile the one manager's daughter sits around watching Netflix all day avoiding doing her job and noone says anything. One year at Christmas time, the owner announced 3 weeks before Christmas that our pay structure was going to change for the worse and told us to be conscious of our spending, while offering us the jelly of the month. Ask any employee from that time period about the Jelly of the month thing, they will know exactly what you are talking about. All while the owner bragged about record profits that year and C-Level staff all bought F-150 Platinums, Range Rovers and Mercedes. Another issue is they continue to pump money into their Bradenton office while it continues to function in the Red year over year. I can't tell you when they landed a new client last. Lastly, they have introduced profit sharing over a year ago. For the last 3 quarters no employees received profit sharing. One of the quarters they blamed the renovations on the dead office as the reason behind it. A decision no employee was included in, but had to suffer because of.

Avantages

Unlimited time off, very little expectations to work more than 40 hours a week unless on call. Growing company that promotes from within often. Varied client base with lots of interesting clients. Always a lot to learn and not boring.

Inconvénients

Focus sometimes on the wrong things. Need to get back to what made the company so successful and when employees were generally happier. Lots of change and confusion sometimes. Hard to know who to go to in order to get answers. Weak documentation of standard operating procedures. Pay transparency is lacking. Lack of clarity of what it takes to earn more money. Needs to invest more in technical staff and less on other supporting roles in the company.

Avantages

Les principes traditionnels avaient autrefois un sens, mais c'est de l'histoire ancienne. Quant aux en-cas, mentionnés dans de nombreux avis… alors si vous avez envie de barres de céréales gratuites, cet endroit pourrait vous convenir.

Inconvénients

L'âme de cette entreprise et de ses dirigeants a été vendue suite à son rachat par un fonds d'investissement. Toutes les promesses d'évolution de carrière pour les employés n'étaient que du vent. « Permettre aux gens de se concentrer sur l'essentiel » ne s'applique plus qu'à une élite, et les employés compétents et fidèles sont tout simplement mis au rebut. Leur méthode préférée pour se débarrasser du personnel est la « suppression de poste »… ainsi, ils n'ont pas à gérer les preuves de mauvaise performance ni toutes les autres formalités RH liées aux licenciements… surtout si vous remplissez toutes vos obligations et répondez aux attentes. Pendant des années, ils ont prôné l'esprit de famille et de communauté. La plupart d'entre nous y avons adhéré, aimions ce que nous construisions et suivions nos dirigeants, mais tout a basculé en 2024. Le remplacement à l'étranger est devenu la norme : à mesure que des employés partent, de plus en plus de personnel étranger arrive. La nouvelle équipe dirigeante a accéléré la dégradation de la culture d'entreprise et, en moins d'un an, a réussi à se séparer de nombreux employés fidèles ayant cinq ans d'ancienneté ou plus. Leurs mauvaises pratiques commerciales ont notamment consisté à forcer l'équipe à bloquer les mises à jour gratuites de Windows 11, puis à faire payer la mise à niveau aux clients. Les empêcher de tenter la mise à jour eux-mêmes pour ensuite leur facturer est tout simplement immoral. Ce qui me désole le plus, c'est que les dirigeants initiaux aient laissé faire. J'espère que votre récompense finale sera à la hauteur… un succès bâti sur le dos de chaque personne loyale que vous avez dupée avec des promesses de croissance et d'avenir.
