Avantages

Very openminded company which commercialises great products and has great values.

Inconvénients

So many... - Uncompetent Top Management, who is leading the company straight into the wall. - Absolutely no internal communication regarding important decisions, which creates the most messy environment I ever saw. - Flat hierarchy, which also means that there is quickly no possibility of evolution in the company. - No onboarding on arrival. You can expect to be thrown into deep water on day 1 with no formation or training. - Due to the previous point, you can also expect a flat learning curve, and you'll realize that you learnt nothing useful for the rest of your career, except being an influencer slave. - Extremely fast paced company, which burns out all the employees, and doesn't leave space for reflexion or strategy. - No employee consideration whatsoever, since the only important criteria is the revenue. The atmosphere is very toxic when the revenue is not as high as expected. - Heartless company which will just lay you off from one day to the other, without any warning or consideration. In conclusion, I really do not recommend HelloBody as next company to anybody.

Avantages

A startup that has the benefits of an established company. The people are amazing to work with; very collaborative environment!

Inconvénients

Working in the smaller office, the communication with the headquarters is really hard. The company needs to do a better job at bridging the communication gap and also making it better for work/life balance.

Avantages

The female employees were very sweet and helpful. TBH, I was interviewed by 4 different employees at HelloBody multiple times, and I was excited to work for this company until I met the CEO.

Inconvénients

The CEO was rude and on his phone the entire time during my interview. I asked questions about the job role to get a further understanding of the responsibilities and he laughed at me as if I were asking ridiculous questions. It made me so incredibly uncomfortable. They think they know everything about the US market and don't want to hire anyone with any real knowledge or input. If you want a robot job, go for it, but I wouldn't want to work in that toxic environment where I was not valued. The CEO is offended by any sort of constructive criticism or input. They want people to take orders and do tasks. If you're looking for a leadership role, look elsewhere. They have a rigorous interview process. They work from a community WeWork office space in Hollywood with no parking. They expect you to be on call at all hours for the European teams. They require you to complete lengthy assignments to demonstrate your knowledge of marketing campaigns (possibly to gather free ideas). If you want to thrive in a role where your creative abilities are acknowledged and appreciated, don't work here.
