Avantages
Wonderful fringe benefits (free lunch, gain sharing, promote from within, training, paid schooling)
Inconvénients
There are many things that at face value seem great, but the longer you work there the deeper the issues become. They are real issues that hinder the growth of the company. Many bosses for the same departments with each a different view on how things should be ran. There are some “favorites” within the company. It’s great when you’re in that side of things, but you’ll be pushed out when you’re not! There is a strict no family being hired rule. This seemingly doesn’t apply to multiple people within the company, including the owners son. There’s a lie that keeps people at the company many years. “You’ll never find a place like this” or “you won’t be happy any where else”. This is false. There are many great companies to work with and good people exist everywhere. I left on good terms, but feel I’d never be able to return to say hello to many of the friends I have made there.
