- First of all, my manager told me during the job interview that we are working in shifts, but that we switch a lot so that everyone has a lot of weekends free still. When i joined, they planned me already in for the next 4 weekends. - second, i worked at a german hotel. I told them i can not talk german so well yet, but I am willing to learn of course. When i arrived, everyone expected me to talk in german. Also, i was not aware that the hotel had mostly german guests. I asked this in advance. - third, we didn't had breaks And then at last, but I think this is more a cultural problem, we were not allowed to adress our manager with her first name. For me quit strange, although i fully understand that this is completely normal in some cultures
