Avantages

Company has grown to be a leader in the tracking industry. Company car and other perks.

Inconvénients

I have see many great people come and go due to mismanagement and micromanagement. Absolutely no trust whatsoever. There are cameras literally covering every single of the building, the phones are also tapped. I understand security but this is borderline creepy. If you kiss butt, you’ll make a splash here but if you’re a hardworking no nonsense kind of employee, keep your bags packed, you’re not going to last. I enjoyed working here until the company grew larger and John the owner lost focus on how to treat employees like human beings. It’s horrible when you are given a position and are constantly being undermined as well as second guessed on solutions that would benefit the customer and maintained their trust.

We certainly appreciate your feedback, but we have not provided company cars to our employees in more than 10 years! We do value the feedback of our team members, both past and present, and take all the feedback we receive very seriously to improve our company. Our leadership team works hard to ensure that the culture and working environment at VTS is reflective of the trust we have in our team members as experts in their crafts (especially in our current remote work atmosphere). We encourage our managers to stay connected to their team members as a reflection of the collaborative nature of our work. We believe that we all have an opportunity to learn and grow from each other, as we recognize that each team member is able to make a significant contribution to our business and help us take it to the next level. Security is also something that we value as an organization not just to protect our onsite data center, but also to protect the safety of our employees and work environment. As a company that originated as a family-run business, our owners take pride in caring for the needs of their employees both personally and professionally, making sure to emphasize the importance of work/life balance so that employees have the time they need for their families and personal lives. We also encourage open-door communication so that all team members know they can discuss any thoughts or concerns with our leadership team. We believe that open communication is key to success and growth both as a company and as individuals. Thank you again for your many years of service with us. Avantages

The culture is prioritized and leadership is able and willing to take critical feedback to improve and keep driving forward. There is a true team mentality and everyone in it to win it.

Inconvénients

Onboarding can vary by team and is not as sophisticated as in larger organizations.

Avantages

Pay was good. That's it.

Inconvénients

NO centralized location for documentation. They will micromanage you into the ground. They encourage working off the clock. Management is confrontational and snarky. Development is slow to respond to high impact issues. Clients canceling left and right because the hardware and interface just does not work. This leaves clients frustrated. Small team for such a large workload.

We understand that tech support in a fast-paced environment like ours isn’t easy — it requires focus, adaptability, and strong communication. Monitoring response times isn’t micromanagement; it’s a key part of ensuring our clients get the timely support they expect from IntelliShift. As for documentation, we do have a robust and actively maintained knowledge base to support our team. While no system is perfect, it's constantly being improved based on feedback. We recognize that workloads can be heavy at times, but our lean team structure allows us to stay agile and responsive. We’re committed to supporting our employees and continuously improving our processes, tools, and product. We appreciate feedback and take it seriously — even when we don’t agree with every point.
