Avantages
Place to mingle with the leading scientists in rice research as well as a multi-cultural organization that allows you to work with people from other countries. IRRI conducts several trainings each month from statistics to lab training so there are plenty of opportunities for personal growth. Provides gym, badminton courts, football field for after work exercise. Has strong employee organizations as well.
Inconvénients
Not much chance for career advancement for locally hired employees and salary is not as competitive as other private companies.
