      Avantages

      Once upon a time, this company had values and integrity. Their used to be fun social gatherings that made you feel apart of a family. The benefits are great and if you're not easily fooled, they will offer the correct salary for what you're worth. Here's a pro, there are several other oil and gas businesses to look into besides this one!

      Inconvénients

      Only about half of the employees that work there, actually work. The rest of the people there are a bunch of airheads. Management is to busy with their heads up their rear ends to see it. Nothing gets done on time. The whole basis of working there is cleaning up after a previous mistake. One manager even said, "give it to someone else." when asked how to do a task. Seriously? Great work ethic.. Bottom line, this place is a joke. Don't waste your time with this place, it's going downhill anyway.

      Avantages

      They have been in business a long time and are still a privately owned company. Most of the management truly care about their employees and the company still feels like a family company.

      Inconvénients

      The last two years were difficult times for the industry and bonus payments were minimal. J-W Power company is the only business left and is small compared to some of the other compression companies.

      Avantages

      As with most oil & gas companies, life/work balance is good and pay scale is good, nice new office building with decent cubes. Most of the people you work with on a daily basis are friendly and helpful.

      Inconvénients

      -Expect to be micromanaged, even if you are a member of management. Any expertise you have will quickly be dismissed. -On a number of occasions I've witnessed employees being berated by management during meetings, this seems to be a part of the management culture. -Communication is extremely poor from leadership down. -Advancement is based on being friends of, or part of the family that owns the company. -There's no clear direction from company leadership, tasks change on a regular basis and there seems to be no real commitment to completing projects. This is a strange quality to go along with micromanaging your employees, but they pull it off by redirecting efforts constantly. -There's no framework for providing feedback to employees, yearly reviews are non-existent.
