Inconvénients
Where do I begin with? -They have Bravo recognition program but managers don't use it and company doesn't encourage mngrs to give out points. So what's the point to having this tool? -They punish employees with the Return to Office. 3 days in the office is a lot! Managers are ok with it because they live near the office and want to leave the house. -No end-of year party for employees, they just give you popcorn and cheap swag. We don't need tumblers, notebooks or pens with a JCI logo printed on them. -Every week it's a new round of layoffs. Employees are scared when they'll be next. It's sad and lowers the morale of the person and the team. What's the point of working well if you're gonna get fired anyway? They say it's not based on performance. -My role was eliminated but was offered a transfer to another team with the idea the new role will be like a promotion or step forward in my career. My job title, my salary, role clarity was never discussed, then 3 months later they eliminated me all from the company. Thanks for taking away my career path, JCI! -They constantly brag about the employee experience and asks employees to complete a survey every quarter, but we don't see any positive changes for us. I guess layoffs will continue to happen until there's only 1 people there. -My annual increase was really below average. I've received better increases at other companies. This was just a joke. -I am really dissapointed in JCI, losing high talent left and right and firing good people. -It's hard for me to understand how this company is Forbes Best Employers for Diversity 2023. For example, Local office is pretty much run by cis hetero men to start with and most of people there are cis hetero men. Not many women in leadership roles, so don't expect diversity beyond that.
