      You will have access to almost anything you want for your research. Excellent admin and IT staff. You'll have access to very talented and gifted individuals.

      Avantages

      Freedom to work on your own project. Excellent travel support to attend conference, workshops, visit other institutes. doing research on cutting-edge subjects

      Inconvénients

      This is a research institute and should not compare with a university environment, students should be faster. The students should work very independently and there is no much help from senior people.

      * MPII is filled with smart people. The conversations are usually great and you get to learn a lot.

      Inconvénients

      The salaries for working students are some of the lowest amongst research institutes.
