2020 showed the true colours of the company. When people were being urged to work from home, we were told this wasn't an option for us, even if you could do your whole job remotely. People were even threatened with being sacked just for asking to work from home. Racist, sexist management team. The company is run on a culture of threatening behaviour, coercive control and disorganisation. The effects of the pandemic became clear with the first lockdown, the MD threatened staff with redundancy if they asked to work from home in jobs that were not essentially office based. The most memorable was cutting staff contracted sick days by a third and putting it up to a management vote whether bringing a genuinely COVID19 infected person into the office would "help herd immunity" thereby limiting factory downtime. You couldn't make it up. AVOID.
