Avantages
Opportunity to work on advanced RF and transmitter projects with global applications.
A few skilled colleagues who are committed to their roles.
Inconvénients
My experience at Continental Electronics (part of OSI systems Inc) was profoundly discouraging due to a culture that valued deception over integrity. Project managers openly described their approach to clients as “smoke and mirrors” or “theater,” focusing on misleading demonstrations to overpromise capabilities and timelines. Pushing back on unrealistic schedules and citing technical constraints led to my being terminated without clear explanation. The head of security even praised the CEO’s ability to “know when to lie” as a key leadership skill, which underscored a troubling acceptance of dishonesty at the highest levels. This environment clashed with my ethical standards, making it impossible to maintain professional integrity. The focus on short-term appearances over transparency undermined trust and morale. I strongly advise potential employees to thoroughly evaluate the company’s values before joining.
