Inconvénients
The founders have created an extremely unhealthy, anxiety inducing environment, and have blanketed it under the guise of being "fast-paced" and "dynamic". The truth is quite far from it. The founders are simply in over their heads and have hired too quickly with no plan. 1. The pace is not fast. Since every small decision needs to be made by the bosses, who often change their minds and rarely agree with each other, even the simplest tasks take weeks to execute. Most projects are made more complex than they need to be, and the employee's experience and judgement is never trusted. 2. You are kept in a constant state of confusion and anxiety because you have no way of knowing what is expected of you. Expectations are consistently shifting, and the blame is put on employees. People with experience recognize this easily, so they prefer hiring fresh grads and quieter young people and bully them to keep them under their thumb. 3. There is no reason to believe that the leaders of this company know what they want from doubling the team this year outside of having something to show investors. The incompetence lies with them, not those they employ. It is interesting that most strongly worded negative reviews are pillowed by a couple of positive reviews that tell the complete opposite story. At the end of the day, it is up to potential employees to discern their own experience, and I would hope that things turn out better for anyone who decides to join the team.
