      Avantages

      You get a paycheck, they occasionally offered snacks/catered lunch

      Inconvénients

      Endless. Training lasted a month and a half, peers were all "Hospitality" majors but this is literally a CS position, they call it "Event Rental Specialist" to make you feel important, no growth, sit at your desk all day (expected to come in early, stay late, work through lunch), clientel was rude and disrespectful (everyone knew it), "busy season" came and it was the same, they had their own software that was SUPER OUTDATED AND SLOW (couldn't have more than 1 window open) Most importantly, work was NOT WORTH the pay!

      No two days are the same. You might handle: Client consultations Event planning logistics Inventory coordination Delivery scheduling On-site event setup coordination If you like dynamic environments, this can feel engaging rather than repetitive.

      Inconvénients

      Events are time-sensitive, so you’ll deal with: Last-minute client changes Delivery issues or shortages Weekend or after-hours emergencies Mistakes are very visible and immediate high stress
