Avantages

Fully remote. Many of the people who work there are hard-working, decent, collaborative, creative, and caring.

PureRed acquired the company I originally worked for and drove it into the ground, with poor management, smug bigotry from some of the “leaders,” ludicrous “strategies” (from an advertising agency) to increase visibility, a revolving door of top management, and a constant focus on profits over people, in service to venture capital. Most of the “people people” (in HR) were abrupt, and at their best only when admonishing others to get their hours in (with an emphasis on billing every minute], and not so good at being reassuring when layoffs were constantly hanging over people’s heads. We had a robust DE&I program that allowed all of us to be exposed to diverse outlooks and points of view - which seems crucial in advertising - but one mean-spirited “leader”wasted no time gutting that initiative. But PureRed and the venture capitalists that owned them achieved their main goal: they were able to sell the (whole) company to ITG. But the damage was done. Major clients fled and more layoffs followed, but at least the new CEO terminated the last one.
