Avantages

Calling jewelers to sell them diamonds and jewelry. My clients are nice and I enjoy talking to them and selling them diamonds.

Inconvénients

Some times the job is like 'Groundhog Day'. Same thing over and over.

Avantages

The people who work there are like a family. Almost the entire staff has been there for well over 10 years. I enjoy helping people find their forever engagement ring and helping to bring new families together! I love selling and competing with myself to improve each month.

Inconvénients

Sales isn't for everyone. It can be a grind if you aren't able to deal with the negativity you may sometimes get from clients.

Avantages

The office was well-stocked with what I needed day-to-day. Paychecks arrived on time.

Inconvénients

I started in a role and remained in that exact role for three years with zero indication of progression—there were no training programs beyond initial onboarding, no structured path to advancement, no mentorship or investment in developing anyone's skills. My coworkers and I were all just staying put. Every quarter looked like the last one, and it became clear pretty quickly that this wasn't a place that cared about building people up. Nobody told me what growth looked like here or whether it was even possible. I was stuck watching the calendar instead of watching myself improve.
