Encouragement from Leadership on Professional Growth: On a routine basis, my leadership team offers me the opportunity to enroll in training and professional development opportunities. I am personally motivated to pursue these professional development opportunities on my own, but having my leadership team encourage, support, and continuously help me with building my professional skills has been truly amazing. Supportive Executive Team: The foundation of RIVA’s culture is the executive team. Not only are they intelligent, personable, and overall great people, they truly show interest and investment in the success and growth of their employees. Our executive team takes the time to get to know employees, understand their interests, and helps employees find ways to advance their careers. Unique Culture: RIVA’s culture is what makes it so special to work there. Every day you go to work is a new experience. The leadership team is truly invested in building the company’s brand and implementing the model of doing things the “RIVA way”. Working in this environment has helped us keep a strong bond and a united team at our office, which can typically be a challenge for such rapidly growing organizations. Excellent Benefits: In my 6+ years in federal contracting, RIVA is the only company that I’ve worked for that has shaped their benefits package with the sole interest of giving their employees the best benefits package possible. This has been a huge factor in retaining employees at both corporate and our onsite contractors. Overall, here are my top 5 high-level reasons why working at RIVA is a great place to work: -Leadership team that is truly invested in the employees and helping them grow -Excellent benefits with frequent incentives tied to quality performance -Large portfolio of 25+ federal customers across 18 states, which offers opportunities for career advancement across contracts -Fun culture that brings excitement to the work day (most contractors don’t make this effort to build a relationship with employees, especially when they have geographically dispersed contracts) -Rapidly growing company that hasn’t lost its focus on what they have always noted as their most important asset: their employees.

With such great leadership and company culture, there is no downside I can list here!

Inconvénients

• Greater transparency around resource planning and project transitions would help employees feel more secure when contracts or projects are nearing completion. • Employees would benefit from clearer communication and stronger support regarding internal mobility and placement opportunities across projects. • Leadership could place more emphasis on gathering direct employee feedback and balancing it alongside management perspectives when making personnel decisions. • There is an opportunity to improve consistency in following through on commitments made to employees, particularly regarding career development and immigration/visa-related support. • More proactive communication regarding immigration processes, timelines, and sponsorship-related commitments would help build employee confidence and trust. • Career progression and workforce planning could be more transparent, especially for employees working on long-term client engagements. • Increased focus on employee retention and long-term career planning would further strengthen the employee experience.
