      Avantages

      Interesting large rail projects, chance to work on many aspects of projects from survey to engineering. Good work to life balance.

      Inconvénients

      Management doesn't know how to run a competitive company. Poor delegation or work, poor growth of employee development. Easy to get pigeon holed. Upper management resents employee who want to move up.

      Avantages

      A couple of the project managers are great to work with. HR is very helpful.

      Inconvénients

      Creativity is squashed and processes are too rigid for positive evolution. Collaboration is generally non-existent, and professional knowledge and experience is not shared. Upper management can be very, very autocratic while at the same time very, very passive aggressive. Unsurprisingly, communication from upper management is abhorrent.
