They operate like a 15 person startup on a shoestring budget. The good thing is that business is good, but the bad thing is that they have too much work to do and not a big enough cohesive team to do it well. There are never-ending fires to put out. You don't even get to put a fire all the way out before needing to jump on another bigger one. Dreadfully grumpy co-workers in some cases. No raises, no bonuses and no 401k matching.
