Roth does an absurd amount of employee surveys, claiming that this is how they measure employee satisfaction.
However, at the end of 2024, Adam Roth held a company-wide Town Hall to let everyone know that he felt their feedback was wrong, and they he didn’t agree with the resounding responses that there were major problems with leadership, measurements of success, and the new sales “strategy” (which consists of hours of data entry so that marketing can blast clients and prospects with canned emails that will undoubtedly get the company e-mail server blocked. “Some people are still finding a way to win,” was his response to overwhelming critique.
Leadership moves the goalposts on consistent bi-weekly basis to what the objective is; mind you, the objective is never to focus on outcomes. Data entry, KPIs, “target lists” and call cycles. They will take a salesperson/recruiter with 10 years of proven success and make them throw away their processes to adopt their failing processes, crafted by people who haven’t sold anything in over 10-15 years.
It’s very ironic that there is a new role titled “VP of Sales Enablement” when everything that has been done over the past 2 years from a sales perspective has literally disabled the sales process and forced people to fail.
