      Avantages

      You can't beat the state benefits. The time vacation and personal time structure are incredible. The set 7.5 hour work day sets up for a perfect work-life balance.

      Inconvénients

      Career Advancement, Salary increases are roughly 2.5% IF approved. Since the merger of UMDNJ and Rutgers, former UMDNJ employees feel like the "ugly stepchild." Most raises, title changes and promotions were given to Legacy Rutgers employees. The future is cloudy and there's a lack of job security.

      Avantages

      co-workers are super nice, friendly and collaborative. Good flexibility in work arrangements. My immediate boss is nice.

      Inconvénients

      Morale is quite low, and turnover is high. We are losing good people and goals are not being met. Senior Leader tell us to do more with less, and do not want constructive feedback. They don't lead by example, taking elaborate trips instead of being present and supporting staff. Rules don't apply to them. So disappointing, not what you would expect from a public university.
