Avantages
-Home daily, 8-12 hour shifts,
-Hourly Pay with Bonuses and a little extra on the top for mileage and stops, so no unnecessary and dangerous rushing. Also i make 80k but i know multiple drivers making 100k+, I just like a little more off time.
-Mostly Hands off management, if they dont hear from you, you probably wont hear from them much aside from basic work related thing e.g Productivity, event triggers in the truck, and monthly safely meetings etc.
-Easy job once you develop a routine
-Great coworkers, mileage may vary depending on location though lol
The only reason I would leave this company was if something major changed or I planned on completely changing career fields, this is a premier place to drive for, I highly recommend.
Inconvénients
-Dispatch will sometimes make mistakes and make your job harder or more annoying than it should be, but i feel like thats true across the trucking industry.
