Avantages

Very cool cars, most people are helpful and passionate about what they do. Hybrid working is still possible - though this was being cracked down on somewhat so I don't expect this will last.

Inconvénients

Deadlines are fluid, with little to no accountability or repercussions from senior management when they are inevitably missed. For Engineering, being late seems to be an accepted behaviour - cars have actually been delivered to customers with parts on them that aren't released, just because they cannot delay and disappoint the customer by delaying further. I found this to be totally shocking for a company who's motto is "everything is important". Quite a toxic working environment, dominated by large male ego's within management especially. These managers have inevitably hired people who they've worked with before, so it's inevitably quite cliquey and difficult to get your voice heard if your opinion differs. Very high staff turnover - always a bad sign. Relatively new offices, but meeting rooms aren't kitted out with proper audio conferencing equipment - not a great look or very professional when the US team is dialling in remotely and they cannot hear anyone in the room that isn't directly in front of the laptop... Lack of systems and processes - even for basic things, inevitably leading to people having to spend more time on finding work arounds.

Avantages

The product is insanely cool. One of a kind cars that you'd only see at a car museum. The people are great as well.

Inconvénients

As appealing as it seems, DON'T. From a business standpoint, very disorganized. Sink or swim mentality. Throws employees into the deep end hoping something sticks. There is a very high turn over rate within production, thus loosing a lot of tribal knowledge that the shop workers have. Due to this fact, no one really knows what they're doing. No ERP system to tie everything together. A lot of these cars are quite literally held up by popsicle sticks because the production workers have to resort to mickey mouse fixes to meet production demand. These are million dollar cars held up by popsicle sticks which is a great analogy for the company as well. Honestly, some of these cars shouldn't be on the road. A luxury brand that is in constant triage mode, unable to focus on improving process.
