Avantages

There are some wonderful people working there - and the toxic environment creates bonds. Leadership is genuinely invested in D&I and welcomes dissenting opinions on some topics. Relevant to today's market and growing exponentially - this company will be successful.

Inconvénients

Oh Spring Health, I really wanted to like you. But... I have never seen so many talented people feeling so stressed out, and outputting such average work as a result. Brilliant, smart employees quitting after less than a year, multiple burnouts... I've also never seen company culture discussed so often, ironically. There is a lot of lip service paid to "family comes first", but I've seen potential candidates penalized for merely asking about work-life balance in interviews. Notice how a lot of the positive reviews are saying "not for you if you're not smart/fast/dedicated enough..." Blaming the negative experiences of employees on their own supposed incompetence - says it all. And even if it were the case, why are so many incompetent people hired in the first place?

Avantages

The company's products help people in meaningful ways

Inconvénients

Company is very poorly misled. There isn't a real vision or culture. In general, ways of working here are scattered and immature. We have a new SDLC every 10 months or so. Constant re-orgs and changes in leadership cause instability. Teams and ICs are re-allocated every 3–6 months. Priorities are constantly shifting. "Science will win" except when it comes to evaluating AI's place in our product. Sudden AI focus despite not having a real vision for how it aligns with our mission. Leaders who report directly to the CEO often cycle out every year or so. There seems to be very little awareness or ownership that leaders aren't set up for success. The company says it cares about employee "thriving" but promotes leaders with very poor scores. It seems to be more of a vanity metric/tool to fire people.
