Avantages

Employees that are still here are great people and will help you despite the pressures and high demands they have on them. The benefits package is pretty good. Flexible working.

Inconvénients

I have been a System C employee for a few years now and have seen the downward spiral play out as per other reviews on here. Numerous redundancy and restructuring cycles has left the remaining staff with high stress and increased workloads. Management doesn’t know how to deal or handle the changes being thrown on them by senior management. They appear to keep cutting staff until the bottom line looks better and leave the company crippling with poor service and not delivering value to our customers. You turn up to work with a daily sense of unease and a chaotic environment. No one knows exactly what they are doing and people have been thrown into job roles through restructuring they don’t want to do or have never done before (if you are lucky to survive). A lot of experienced and knowledgable staff have been pushed out the door where they are so desperately needed. Most staff have open to work on LinkedIn and looking to escape. No or little bonuses. Pay increases below the market averages.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am grateful for your recognition of our dedicated employees and the benefits we offer. However, I am concerned about the issues you have raised as employee wellbeing is always top priority, and an area where we are continuously trying to improve. I acknowledge that the transformation we have been going through as a business has been challenging, as we have navigated through investing in new systems, evolving the shape of the organisation to better support our customers and implementing new ways of working. I know this can create a feeling of unease, and we aim to provide our management team with the tools they need to support teams throughout the business, whilst also ensuring we have other opportunities for employees to get support such as the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which is available 24/7. With our bi-annual employee engagement survey currently underway this will also help us to understand where we need to do better and will focus our efforts in ensuring everyone can come to work feeling happy and excited about the difference they are making. I would value the opportunity to discuss your comments in greater detail and understand what more you think myself and the wider leadership team can do to support teams during this time. Please do get in touch if you are open to this. Nick Wilson, CEO

Avantages

The only pro is the remote / hybrid working.

Inconvénients

I could write a lot on this, but the two biggest challenges within the company are: 1. Disorganized processes and slow decision making. Operations felt chaotic, more like the downside of a start-up than the upside. Decisions moved slowly, inefficiencies were everywhere and few people seemed empowered or accountable to fix them. The technology, infrastructure, and ways of working often felt outdated and unnecessarily manual. 2. A People team lacking credibility and capability. From leadership down, the People function appeared out of depth. Initiatives such as career frameworks and progression tools being introduced felt more like surface level exercises than meaningful strategies. Despite the talk of being “people focused,” the execution of any initiatives lacked clarity, consistency and genuine understanding of what employees actually need.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m pleased our remote / hybrid working suited you, but I’m sorry that other aspects of your time did not meet your expectations. We recognise that some of our processes and tools have been too manual and slow. As we integrate our group of companies into one organisation, we’re investing in clearer processes, better systems and sharper ownership so decisions move faster. You’ve also raised concerns about our People team and career development. Our career frameworks are currently in the design and build phase to create greater transparency, with a communicated deadline of the end of our financial year. Alongside this, we’ve introduced Development Planning, Squiggly Careers training and toolkits, and a mentoring programme to support colleagues with their career development. We appreciate your honesty and will use this feedback as we continue to improve. Tanya
