Avantages
Good equipment, an informal atmosphere, a multicultural environment, generally a good customer base and the opportunity to use foreign languages.
Inconvénients
Several years pass with no one-to-ones to discuss performance, or any payrises. There is very little opportunity to progress - the few available opportunities are generally offered to those with the best interview / presentation skills, while length of service and proven aptitude in the relevant field are not taken into account. Managers' 'favourites' are more likely to be promoted than others who may have more knowledge or more developed skills. People doing the same role are on very different contracts, with different benefits and salaries. More work is piled on the conscientious while others surf the internet, yet the meagre benefits are shared equally among all.
